naughty & nice salad



salad ingredients:
farm fresh organic baby greens
farm fresh organic red onion
farm fresh organic turnip
farm fresh local organic dried cherries
farm fresh local raclette cheese
organic sweet & spicy candied walnuts (recipe below)


dressing ingredients:
local organic cherry raspberry preserves
local wild leek vinegar
local organic cherry honey mustard
organic green onion infused olive oil (recipe link)
organic sea salt

 

sweet & spicy candied walnuts ingredients:
local organic cherry raspberry preserves
local organic cherry honey mustard
local organic cherry habanero hot sauce
local wild star thistle honey
organic raw walnuts
organic sea salt


directions
preheat oven to 350 degrees. blend one half cup preserves with two tablespoons mustard, one tablespoon honey and one tablespoon hot sauce in a glass bowl. add two cups walnuts and stir to coat well. gently stir in one teaspoon sea salt then place on baking sheet. bake for fifteen minutes, remove from oven, drizzle one tablespoon honey over walnuts and sprinkle with sea salt then allow to cool for five minutes. whisk dressing together with two tablespoons preserves, one tablespoon vinegar, one tablespoon mustard and one tablespoon oil; season with sea salt. chop red onion, turnip and cheese.  plate greens with vegetables, cheese, walnuts and drizzle with dressing.
